The tournament app for your club tournament
Set up twelve teams in ten minutes at the kitchen table – and run the day with one thumb at the touchline. Schedule, live results and table are in your own app, so no parent has to ask.
No more paper slips and "what is the score in group B?"
The schedule hangs handwritten on the clubhouse door, someone works out the table on a calculator, and every ten minutes a parent asks when their child plays next. With the tournament app you generate the schedule from the team list, enter results pitch-side in two taps – and table, bracket and live score update themselves for everyone. No spreadsheet, no calculator, and nobody filling in a form at the touchline.
What your Tournament app can do
Schedule in a minute
Paste the teams, pick a format – done. Groups + knockout, round robin, fast format or cup, spread across several pitches with a rest rule. The plan stays fully editable afterwards.
A result in two taps
The entry screen is built for outdoors: big areas, dark background, few taps. Mis-tapped? One tap undoes it. And without a signal the entry waits until a connection is back.
A table that is right
Points, goal difference and head-to-head are worked out for you – even in a three-way tie. If a place genuinely cannot be resolved, the app says so instead of claiming a winner that does not exist.
A push for every result
Parents follow their team with one tap and get results, table lead and schedule changes on their phone. Bundled instead of every few seconds – nobody mutes the app in irritation.
Helpers without an account
Every pitch gets a QR sheet. The helper scans it and enters results – no sign-in, no password. The link is valid for this tournament only, can be revoked any time, and every entry is logged.
One link for the parents' chat
Schedule, live score and table are also available through a plain browser link – no install needed. Perfect for the group chat, for grandparents and for everyone who is not there.
Not just football
Handball, volleyball with set scoring, basketball, ice hockey, tennis, table tennis, darts and table football come with their own rules. Points follow the sport, not one fixed formula.
Ready in 3 steps
Create the tournament
Name, date, sport and number of pitches – the wizard asks for exactly what it needs.
Paste the teams
One line per team; pasting from the clipboard is enough. Short names are generated for you so the table stays readable on a phone.
Generate the schedule
Pick the format, check the preview, done. On the day you just enter results – table, bracket and push take care of themselves.

Frequently asked questions about the Tournament app
How do I create a schedule for our club tournament?
In BauDir you create the tournament, paste the teams as a list and choose a format – groups + knockout, round robin, fast format or cup. The app generates the full schedule including time slots across all pitches and avoids letting a team play twice in a row. Afterwards you can move any match by hand.
Can several helpers enter results at the same time?
Yes. You create an entry link with a QR code for each pitch. Helpers need no account and no password. Every entry is logged with the link it came from, and two devices do not overwrite each other – if the results conflict, the app shows the conflict instead of silently picking one.
Does the tournament app work without internet at the sports ground?
Entry does. Every input takes effect immediately and goes into a queue if there is no connection; as soon as there is a signal, everything is sent automatically. The header honestly shows how many entries are still waiting – the app never claims something is saved while it only sits on the device.
How does the app work out the table when teams are level?
By a configurable order: points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head and further criteria depending on the sport. Head-to-head is computed as its own mini table over exactly the teams that are level. If a genuine tie remains, the app shows the place as shared – and asks who advances when it fills the bracket.
Which sports are supported?
Football, handball, volleyball (with set scoring), basketball, ice hockey, tennis, table tennis, darts and table football – plus a profile for anything else that can be counted. Result form, points and tie-break order are defined per sport and can be adjusted per tournament if your association does it differently.
Can spectators see the results without installing the app?
Yes. Every tournament has a share link that shows schedule, live score and table in a normal browser. Put it in the parents' chat, in the newsletter or on the clubhouse door as a QR code. Anyone who installs the app also gets push notifications.
Are player names or scorers stored?
No. At youth tournaments that would be data about minors, so player lists and scorers deliberately do not exist. Teams, matches and results are stored – contact details of team managers are visible to the organiser only and are never delivered to the app.
What does the tournament app cost?
The tournament planner is part of the Premium plan and is included there at no extra cost and with no volume limit – including the push notifications during the tournament. Cancellable monthly, no setup fee. The trial includes all Premium features, so you can run a whole tournament before deciding.
